National Considerate Constructors Award Winners!
Jason Henderson and his team were recently awarded a considerate constructor Bronze award in recognition of their hard work at Hummersknott School, Darlington.
Jason and his team successfully complete the £14.5 million scheme to construct a new Science and Technology Teaching Block, New Creative Arts Facility and a new Admin/Reception Area.
The Considerate Constructor Monitor commented "An excellent standard of considerate construction has been achieved and the site presents a very good visual, social and professional image." Head Teacher, Pat Howath also added "It now seems strange not to have the Contractors on site. It is a testimony to their approach to this project that, in effect, they seemed to become members of the school staff known to students and staff, attending social events and presenting awards at assemblies and prize evenings."
